Welcome to my blog. My (blogging) name is Jewel and I hope you will enjoy reading about my adventures. I am a keen amateur artist and I will be exhibiting at shows, setting up a website and doing arty voluntary work. Anyone can read this, so I will not be mentioning any names, and will keep any mention of my family to a minimum. There should hopefully still be plenty of interesting things to write about.

I am a member of a local art group and I have been busy setting up a website for some of the members, including myself. It has taken most of this year, and I have had to have quite a bit of help from my better half, but I am now close to completing it.

I am keeping this introductory posting short, and will sign off for now, but I hope you will join me again soon.
